All is really good with him. He has gained 50 grams, eats and drinks very well although still does not eat any hay. BUT is chewing on his pumice stones, pieces of wood, loofah, yucca, rosehip. Fat poops and plenty of pee. And his bumble foot situation all cured, even the callusis he had on the sides of his back paws are half gone.
I still have 1 more week of meds and then I am taking an appt the following weeks for a follow up on his teeth and will give poops for check up on giardia. The reason why I have not yet gone for the giardia is because the meds that I am giving him also has an affect on giardia. So I am hoping it will have done the job on that as well.
So, I just hope his teeth problems are nothing....

As I have been folllowing his progress here and on the Quebec forum, I was wondering how he was doing.... my English is better than my French...lol It sounds like he has found quite a place in your heart Christianne you have been making such great progress with him. Are you going to be placing him or will you be keeping this little guy; he sounds like such an amazing little fellow, I can't wait to hear how he is doing.....

Thanks, what is your forum name on the Québec forum?
I am keeping him, I just want to make sure he will be okay and not knowing how things will be for him as far as his teeth goes.

finally, I am keeping him... and here are some pictures. Before: Now: The before pictures have been taken a couple of days after starting the treatment. Until the visit to the vet, I had been cleaning his eyes and ears. When I first got him, his right eye was shut by crusted discharge from the abcess. Under his chin was drenched with his drooling down to his stomach. His ears where crusted with dirth. and obviously had bumble foot. Although he did not seem to know how to take a bath he is learning and his fur is slowing looking better. So this little boy is doing good. The before pictures

I'm so happy to hear how well he is doing - great job... my name is chinchillahill on the Quebec forum; I'm new and I haven't posted anything yet; my French will have mistakes...lol and I'm having trouble with accents on this computer, so I am working on that too... julie

Chinchillahill, I wouldn't worry to much about the spelling, I get my moments too.
