I picked up a 3 years old female rescue on Monday. I was told she liked to be pet but not held. She's been in for only few days and she's just so adorable. She jumps on my hands, will sit on my lap letting me pet her, she's the sweetest little thing I've seen. ;D She still shakes a bit and gets really tense when I hold or pet her, but she lets me do it just the same. I think she just weaned babies as she's missing fur around her front nipples and skin is still loose. She was dumped on Friday at the SPA. She's having problem with the hair on her bum, lots of loose hair, and it's all stuck, I'll have to comb her/cut some hair. Here are some pics of her, she's got parabolic antenna rather than ears let me tell ya! But she still adorable don't you agree?

Aww, what a cutie. You are right about the nursing thing. Chins will lose the hair around their nipples when they nurse. Poor momma chinnie!

She's just been adopted this week end. She wasn't too happy about the combing, took me almost 15 minutes and I had to cut some matted fur. There's still a bit on her bum deep down in the fur, will that go away with time and shedding?
Things are going veeeeeery well! We're up to 8 rescues in new homes so far since....April I guess. Yay!

Mats can go away as the fur grows out but it depends on how bad they are. They can just continue to mat up farther down.
