With mine....she will suddenly start to chatter, and then stiffen up, and flatten out, not moving, barely breathing, I reach into the cage and pick her up, she's completely limp, but I can feel all of her muscles tight at the same time (yeah, I know, sounds weird), she lies still in my arms, completely stretched out on my arm.....and all I do is make sure she is still breathing. After 5-10 minutes normally, she will sluggishly start moving her head, then start moving her paws, and shifting in my arms, and finally moving her body, takes about another 5 minutes before she seems to snap out of it, when she does fully snap out of it, she's a bit scared and upset, and confused at what happened. She needs some mommy time, and reassurence after it happens. It use to happen somewhat often as she was in the middle of being extremley sick, but as she got it, it's dropped to maybe ocne a month (thank god!)

I am a bit too paranoid to put them in the chin room though. I don't want to miss hearing a seizure. AND the added stress of moving them into a room with lots of chins.

I moved the questions on the beige gene to the genetics area just so the thread isn't derailed. Nicole I just edited your post as I moved posts around and didn't want people thinking you were crazy talking to a post not there. ha!

LMAO! Too late! I think people think I'm already nuts But seriously, even if you put them in the chin room you may never know how they will react and if they will still be bonded (ie I had 4 chins in 1 cage and that had to be reduce to 3 because of Pow Pow in the room)

Well I'm hoping to keep the trio together. TRIPOD is getting grumpy with her mom in sis in the tube. It sounds like a deranged Hippo in the river. They already have an extra long tube so I may have to make it longer with an add on.

Someone must have PMS. I find that usually the girls tend to work it out. I've never had to seperate girls like I have with boys. Boys paired up are the ones that scare me.

Tripod is the sweetest chin out of the three of them. Heck out most of my own chins! She is a total lovey girl. Then she kacks at her family and bosses them around! Hopefully she will get over her mood! ha ha
