I just got an email about this girl. They have to rehome her asap. This is the email I rec'd: Hello, we have a female 3 year old chinchilla named Pom-Moosh, a beautiful mosaic whom we rescued from an abusive household. We bought her from the original owners who had pomeranian dogs, which would chase her around and stress her. We have nursed her back to health but can no longer afford to keep her as we are a student couple. She is super friendly and comes to you when you open the cage. She never barks or shows aggressive behavior. She has a strange night blindness condition. At night time, a cataract forms in one of her eyes, that receeds during the day. But beyond that, she is in perfect health now. She won't come with her cage as a family member will be taking it. We hope you can understand and that you can find a good home for her. I'm not sure about the cataract thing, as I doubt it would disappear. Any takers? They are out of pellets and I want to get them some in the meantime.

Oh my goodness she is the cutest thing ever! Maybe they heard her thumping around at night and thought she was blind? she has the cutest face and nose. Hopefully, the fur tufts are just tufts of loose fur and not matts :s

She is sweet, but if I bring another female into my house, my princess would bite my ears off, lol

I had an email about this girl and it looks like they are taking her. It's not a rescue adoption but I am glad she is going to a good home. The person owned chins in the past and has joined here.
