Nothing yet! I'm thinking she's not but I'll still keep her on the preggo watch!
She dumped her food dish out 2 days in a row but stopped that now. I think she was just being a beast! ha!

Love your banner Emily! Kara, you are the best!
Just thought I would give a bit more info on these two. The female eb is around 3 years of age and her name is Dominique. She is a pedigreed chin BUT she is looking for a pet only home. Very curious so far and gave me a bit of attitude after I ended playtime.
The Black Velvet male is around 5 years of age and his name is Suichi and like the other chin, he is pedigreed as well but is looking for a pet only home.
I'll be able to give more info on their personality once they have been here a while.

Not too bad. They need some weight on them and some regular dust baths. Nice personalities so far too.

Nicole is right, Chilly is a sweet chin! You can check them all out on the rescue site: www.canadianchinchillarescue.webs.comThe 2 new rescues are at my house! They need a bunch of things added to their cages so I've been working on that so far. They are busy eating hay and chewing some wood and other chews. I have some hammocks I will put in their cages and then I'll see what else I have on hand to give them.

On Sunday I'll be taking in yet 2 more rescues. Thankfully I have one going into Foster unless I get some adopted asap. I get tons of emails a day but so far the people aren't interested in learning about chins it seems!
Anyway, the two that are coming in is one Black Velvet Male and a Light Eb. Female. Both need to put on weight and be observed but if either are of interest to anyone here, let me know.
I can't say anything about their temperment yet but will update once I see them.

As of now I'm going to put the foster program on hold. I'm spending way too much time on it rather than getting word out about the chins up for adoption.
I will come back to fostering though. It is my hope that I'll have a lot of reliable people to make this rescue work.

Nope. Bailey hasn't been around any of the other chinchillas. I had musical chinchillas in my house on Sunday to get everyone situated. Phoebe is in the chin room now and Chilly has moved down to the hallway near my room.
I'm not sure where you got that idea. I went back to check what I wrote and the only thing I put was depending how long they were going to be with me I might try to do intros.

Bailey is on her own right now. She's just been with me since Sunday so I won't even intro them for at least 30 days. She's stuck in Q as I have another issue of hers I'm watching.

She is spunky too! Had a playtime this morning and was just running around and looking for attention. She had a long dust bath and was full of energy.
When I left for work she was in her hammock.

Me too. At least I can get her on the right track towards her new and better life! Depending on how long I have her and Chilly, I'm tempted to get them to be buddies. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not though.

She's stressed and underweight. Add that to the fur chewing and she looks quite odd. I think once she has some good food, dust baths and TOYS and chews she'll look like a new chin! She is eating a lot hay so far. A LOT of hay. Poor thing.
