This is Isabella. Her cage sucks and the shelves are nasty. I added one but need more hardware to make more. She'll go into a FN soon. She has been checking out the new stuff. She has an odd way to get to a shelf. She climbs up the cage and pulls herself onto it.

I have got to get rid of her shelves. They are nasty. I went to make new ones and I need hanger bolts! So off to Home Depot this week.

Tanya do you need shelves for her? I can get some shelves shipped to you tomorrow, they should get there Wendsday. If you don't have time to hit HD till later in the week I don't mind getting them done for her. Just need to know sizes.

She is just in a Hagen for now so I was going to just have some smaller shelves. I can measure tonight. That would help a lot! Thanks Mel!

Cool, I've got pieces sitting here from all my other projects perfect for shelves-7" width aprox (tinny bit more than 7") so if that's a good width for her cage I just need lengths and need to know what shelves touch more than one cage wall (for hardwear)

7" wide is great. The cage is 24" x 16" but I am hoping she won't be in it too long. I was planning on making a 16 " shelf to give her one that goes across the cage and some smaller ones. Honestly, whatever type you make I can use as she has only 1 shelf that I plan on keeping and I made that one.
Hope that makes sense....just got in the door!

I can round the corners for that one if you need since the cage has rounded corners it prob won't sit flush against the wall if not. Unless you were just going to put it in with a couple inches off the wall like in the first pic? Just trying to figure out where the hardwear is going If I round the corners il put it on all three sides if not il put It on just the two ends. Hopefully that made sence lol

Oh, Tanya, I have about 5 pounds of Oxbow that I don't have any use for (just about a month old, well stored, bought from Raych) since the boys have decided only Alderpark pellets will do. I'm happy to donate it to the rescue if someone is able to pick it up or meet me downtown near UofT

That would be great. I will have to see if I can find someone that is near you. It might be easier for me to get you to mail it to me.
