Just because a chinchilla has some sort of a "pedigree" does not mean they should be bred. Responsible breeders have them evaluated for health and quality before ever breeding them. Vet care is very important to discover any health concerns. Attending chinchilla shows is a must to understand what true quality is. The responsible breeder takes these things very seriously.

I have some chins being shipped out to Ontario in the next month so if anyone here wanted to add a chin or two to the flight and share the cost it would be at a good savings.

Awww, she sounds like such a sweetheart!
She can't be too ill if she is climbing the bars already. It sounds like her problems aren't causing her too much troubles with her motor skills. Can't wait to hear what the vet thinks about her.
Yay for failed fosters....haha! I can relate!

A fecal would be good too to rule out a parasite from being outside. I hope she will be okay.

Aww, poor baby. You already know it could be an ear infection or a brain injury and I believe listeria can also cause a tilt in some cases. She needs to be checked first for an ear infection which will be pretty easy to tell. The vet will look into her ears and if there is redness or discharge you know you have an infection. Ask the vet about listeria. Not too sure how they test for it but it could show up in the ear swab. Strict quarentine needs to be followed if it turns out to be that.
